ie the placement of a telly in the bedroom a good idea or not so. I have agreed to not have a telly in the bedroom but then I have another room I can escape the kids and watch Tv in if I want. I must say I like having space round my bed, finally I have a room big enough to have alot of space all the way round. What is the best direction to sleep in or does it depend on the person or country? love alyssa. __________________ Love is what I am,

Reply with quote | #2 | Hi Alyssa, what you can do is put a cloth over the telly in your room, same as a mirror, if you have one facing your bed. Its something to do with reflecting movement etc.
As for sleeping, theres the best directions that suit you based on your chinese numbers, called Ming Gua. I can work that out for you. Then secondary are places like you dont want to be in the coffin position, feet heading out the door. If youre behind the door then its a weaker position, the best place is to the centre on the opposite side of the door. Its more to do with being in a position where you can see who's coming. |

Ok that sounds logical and it sounds like me and frank have the best position arranged. I reckon the feng shui comes in with the energy of a new new new bed ohhhhh i love new beds. A broken spring in the back does not allow you to be energetic in the morning. thanks Kate love alyssa. __________________ Love is what I am,

Reply with quote | #4 | Funny since i've been 'more awake' i can't stand for beds to be pushed up against walls etc. Right now in this tiny room not to many positions i can stick it in but i have it placed correctly just foor the odd feeling sometimes i'm sleeping sorta upside down since my feet face north. Not sure why that is, could be that most of the life of this room the foot of another bed faced east and rightout the door. Also i have this big full legnth mirror that was left in this room , it stands on the floor right behind the door, not much i can do about it. At least i'm not watching myself in bed though lol.
The t.v. is right next to the head of my bed, if it sounds akwards , yep it is lol.
Of course my goal is for a home of my own A.S.A.P! *nudges universe* Anything i can do though to help me in this room intill i get to pack up and leave that might help for more harmony or anything else good? |

I do traditional feng shui, which is quantum physics. So its the study of the energy when the building was built etc. There are energy type things you can do though like no clutter under the bed and not having things in your room that have *dead* energy, meaning they just dont inspire you. |

Reply with quote | #6 | lol what you said kate sounds like my room, clutter under the bed, tv facing the bed, bed pushed up against the wall! at least my bed is away from the coffin poss and all that, the head of the bed is along the wall facing the door so i can see who is coming. thats about the only thing that sounds right in my room! LOL. but my room is so small!! *groan* *nudging the universe* for a bigger room lol.
take care,

Reply with quote | #7 | Yea, I have the tv facing my bed too. lol. You can get really anal about things and not have any sharp edges facing you either. LOL. You cant get a house perfect, but you can optimise it. The thing is, if it feels good, then it is good.
I love suggesting cures for houses when I do an audit, and people end up sleeping better etc. |
